Money Changers,
The Whores of Babylon

I denounce the practice of preaching for profit and prioritize the genuine spiritual growth of individuals over financial gain. My mission is to expose and call out those who exploit the teachings of Jesus for personal enrichment. These are the whores of Babylon who preach a corrupt version of the Gospel as taught by Jesus himself.

The world is filled with lies masquerading as truth. Ministers, preachers, pastors or whatever you call them line their pockets from the sale of false hopes and dreams. They live in large luxurious mansions while their flock/congregation/followers live in shacks by comparison.

How can any nation claim to be a Christian nation while thousands of homeless live on the streets of America? Thousands more die from lack of healthcare and one in six children will go to bed hungry. Jesus the Christ, the only begotten son of God, taught that we are to house the homeless, feed the hungry, and tend the sick and elderly. Can we really claim that America is a Christian nation if we cannot follow Jesus's simplest of commandment, love thy neighbor as thy self?

The whores of Babylon preach hate disguised as love, then beg for donations to show your love for God by giving them more than the tithes and offering that God requires to support His Church. In Paul's own words, "I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. For ye remember, brethren, our labor and travail: for night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God."

Paul nor any of the apostles preached the Gospel for money. But here in America, Kenneth Copeland, T.D Jakes, Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, and Benny Hinn led the pack of vultures with a combined wealth of $539 million. David Oyedepo, Chris Oyakhilome, Enoch Adeboye, and T.B. Joshua are scamming poor Nigerians to the tune of $299 million. Rinse and repeat all over the world. Imagine what 299 million dollars could do for the poor people living in Nigeria. Five hundred and thirty-nine million dollars could end homelessness in America. These are but the top handful of "pastors" raking in the cash in the name of God. There are dozens more leaches scattered across America and around the world adding to the suffering of the poor in the world.

Don't think for a moment that I am going to leave Islam out of the picture. No matter where you go in the world people are suffering for lack of even the simplest basics of life. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates together could end world poverty but have chosen to build great monuments to their wealth despite what Allah told them to do with their wealth; "...to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves." Instead, they build great palaces and architectural monuments to themselves where the poor could never afford to live. One would think that no one in their countries would ever want for anything, but sadly, that is not the case. Their abuse of foreign workers is well documented. On the upside, they get reminded to say their prayers 5 times a day.

Religion has always been big business. The more gods the merrier. The whole one God thing had to put a crimp in the business and the bottom line of the local charlatans. The gods have changed but the charlatans have remained the same, proof a little knowledge can be a profitable thing in the wrong hands. Instead of robbers coming to your house to rob you; it's much simpler if the robbers could find a way to get you to give them all your stuff in the first place. Welcome to the world of pastors for hire, where religion is their business, where you really do is get the business end of things.

It is all about the sound bite, the slick narration, the scary implications followed by a tearful need for money to help promote the "ministry" and the causes it supports. Make no mistake, some of the money actually trickles down to people who need help. But, you don't amass million dollar fortunes if you give it all to those who need help. Then of course they have to pay the help, which is justified, but when millions of dollars is involved it can be dogs wait for their master to toss them some scraps or a bone or two. The end result is just bandaids on large social problems bleeding to death.

The homeless need homes but they don't have to be anything fancy. Simple basic dwellings so those searching for a job can have an actual address to put on a job application, and for those not looking for a better life, so they can have a roof overhead and a safe place to get out of the weather. There is still feed the hungry and tend the sick and elderly. Now, we enter the realm of politics and universal healthcare where you would think that every church in America would support such a program. Sadly that is not the case. As a nation, America would rather support the insurance industry rather than invest in the health and wellbeing of its citizens.

They can call it socialism or Marxism or whatever they want from page or pulpit; it is however true Christianity. Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. Acts 4:32 - And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that bought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all thing common... 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. This was how the original church lived and thrived until the evils of greed and the desire of power to control the lives of others crept in. If you want to live by true Christianity this is it. Pastor, priest, teachers, whatever you want to call them who have millions and live in mansions paid for by scamming the poor is not the Christian way.

To echo the prophets - I say unto you as I have spent my days in your service, I have not required gold nor silver nor any manner of riches of you; and even I, myself, have labored with mine own hands that I might serve you, and that you should not be laden with burdens, and that there should nothing come upon you which was grievous to be borne. Yet, my brethren, I have not done these things that I might boast, neither do I tell these things that thereby I might accuse you; but I tell you these things that you may know that I can answer a clear conscience before God this day.

I say unto you that because I said unto you that I had spent my days in your service, I do not desire to boast, for I have only been in the service of my God, and behold, I tell you these things that you may learn wisdom; that you may learn that when you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God. Some of you have called me your teacher; and if I, whom you call your teacher, do labor to serve you, then ought not you to labor to serve one another?
